Questions & Answers
Q: I've seen uv products, decals, used to prevent bird strikes against windows, could this product be used the same way? Could it be used to paint a window, leaving it clear to people but a visual deterrent for birds? If so, how long would it last on a window?
A: I am not sure if this would prevent bird strikes form all birds as I think its more Parrots that can see in UV. I know people have used our Invisible Ink and Paint in the same way as you would like to but I am unsure of how it worked for them.Yes if you paint this product on a window it will remain mostly clear (birds will see this ink/paint as a light blue colour). But like I said I am unsure of which species see in UV. I am unsure how long this will last as UV products, overtime are destroyed by sun light. You would need to paint this product on the inside of the window as it is water based and not waterproof. Also keep in mind that if you clean the window you may wipe the ink/paint off. We also have a solvent based water proof Invisible ink blue but it is expensive to send. Cheers! Jason
